Carlos would give Faruq a tight smile. Nothing like reminding the help that they are nothing but the help. He'd nod in acknowledgement of the D'jinns words. He wasn't surprised at all that Zander had done buisness with this individual. After all this was definitely the kind of company Zander tended to keep. Carlos admittedly was definitely terrified of his employer. With good reason. And with that gave him a healthy dose of wanting to keep a healthy, even if invited space between himself and the D'jinn.
He'd offer a helpless shrug at Faruq's comment about having not let Carlos retrieve atraya. He'd shrug. 'Its honestly understandable. But even if we're not in a professional setting, I find myself unable to not immediately seeing to her safty at all costs. Call it an imprinted instinct if you will.' Suggestive that maybe his boss had a tighter leash than originally thought. He'd keep a straight face at the mention of the 'distraction at the main attraction'. 'I'd only intend Zaid harm, was if he ever endangered Atraya. Than its my duty to neutralize any and all threats that come her way. I'm sure you understand, seeing how Zaid is your golden goose, and he too needs to be protected at all costs. Especially if their guardian hasn't the freedom to choose otherwise.'
After that Carlos just shut his mouth watched and observed, and also getting himself a tasty drink while the twins interacted with their host. Also grabbing a basic boring fruity lala drink for Alara, since it was becoming very clear that she had no idea that she WASN'T a mortal. And Carlos, didn't want to be the one to break her potentially fragile mind or rather perception of the world. He'd hold on to it while Faruq did his fancy tricks. He found the interaction with the twins most interesting. Even an bemused smile would cross his face as he would be looking at Mia with the look. He didn't know why, but it amused him slightly. And if it made Mia uncomfortable, well....it was her turn to be uncomfortable.
Carlos would drink his mystery drink. And glance behind himself and blinked, then shook his head, glancing down at his drink.
'Damn, that shit is strong.'
Because he'd be damned if he didn't just halucinate his shadow following the creepy d'jinn. This is what he got for taking the stronger the better mystery drink. He'd take a few more sips as he stood with the girls, thinking to himself, about how the hell did he end up here in this moment. What happened to that nice private little life he and Atraya had secretly been living? Where he'd been a bartender at a supernatural speak easy. Where even Gods from times long passed would grace it with their pressence. A faint reminisent smile would touch his face as his mind would travel to Kaspar one such God. The man had never seemed to be solid, but in a constant state of black vapors. Spooky tequila man Carlos had dubbed him.
Glancing around the reverie since he was so tall, he took this time to actually absorb the party. Really see what was going on around him, and also question more 'what ifs.' Like what if, instead of being forced into Atraya's head of security detail, they'd been living that life here instead? Would he still be a bartender at some sort of supernatural bar or rave such as this? Admittedly, he missed bartending. Missed the interaction with people. Especially all the beautiful women, regardless of species.
But his life was interwoven with Atraya's. If she died. He died. Zander considered this a form of punishment. Because those under Zanders control never ever truly died a true death. That would also speak for Atraya and Carlos. It was all memories that needed to be faded and turn into dust in the wind. Wishes were like dreams. They never came true.

Alara's fear of the man slowly vanished as she watched him. Sure he had fangs - but people did weird things when they were playing dress up right? It was no different from a large Halloween party the only difference was this guy seemed like a magician on top of it. The way he made the glass disappear and even the pretty rose appear was amazing. She'd never seen someone do magic so seamlessly like that. Now that she understood the situation, at least what she assumed it was Alara wasn't so freaked out. She was still out of her element but it wasn't like she had never been to a party before. She turned her attention to Carlos with a little smile
"Thank you for that. It was nice of you."

Carlos would give Alara a nod of acknowledgement handing her the sweet fruity drink, hoping it would help put her at ease. He could feel her tension, and it slowly was starting to ease. She must've been reasoning things out. It made him curious about her past, and how and why she seemed to believe that she was a human. It was clear she hadn't picked up on the fact that humans weren't allowed at the reverie. He wondered too what her specific speices was. Clearly it was ocean related. But there was so many creatures in the sea. And didn't mermaids have to kill someone to get legs? Or was that Sirens? But then again, he didn't know the difference between if they werent even the same kind of creature. His dark eyes would look down at her. A gentle smile on his face. As much as he was putting her to ease. She was returning the favor as he too relaxed just a little now that Faruq had gone on his merry way. Carlos felt like her could breathe a little bit. God help him for his next blasphemes thought. But he was honestly relieved that Atraya wasn't there. But it made him also wonder when Zaid took a break if he wouldn't be hunted down, to be asked where she was. After all this attendance had been unplanned and sudden. He'd look away from Alara to study the crowd. Especially the dance floor thinking back about that night. When the night had still be fun and pleasant. Before things escalated because he was doing his job. A small reminiscing smirk touched his face as thought about the two beautiful women he'd found himself sandwhiched between, they had all but ripped his clothes off while they had danced to the incrediably erotic music that had made him want them both to have their way with him. Him their willing slave. The apparition of the old Carlos coming to life. The man who laughed and smiled more than he was ever upset. The man who loved to party. Loved weed as much as he loved beautiful women. But most of all the chill and open Carlos. Unlike his present state of always being serious, always completly dedicated to the job, whether it was by choice or not. And thus the instinct to be protective had been instinctual. And Alara had some similiar traits to Atraya, which is probably what kicked the instinct in. Either way, he'd done it. He wondered as a result would she attached to his hip the rest of the night, or would she become emboldened and explore on her own. A part of him wanted to rejoin the twins, if only because the longer he spent with him the more interesting they became. And the more he was almost letting his guard down. Mia was definitely crazy. And still made him nervous. Mostly he was addmittedly worried if he said the wrong thing, he'd go from an alto to a soprano. Zella was definitely the nice twin. Her curiosity like Alara's made him curious about her as well. He knew that it was his night off and he should be enjoying himself in the company of 3 very alluring women, despite their level on the 'hotness scale'. Not that he actually judged women in that fashion, but it had been a very funny video, at some dudes idea of the relation of being crazy and the level of crazy a girl was. But again that wasn't carlos' style. Looks werent everything nor were they ever lasting. Personality and actions always had a lot to say about an individual. Having completed his observation of the rave he'd glance back down at Alara, giving her a reassuring smile. youtu.be/R_USJCTIgs4

Alara took the drink he offered curious. It seemed liker her type of drink and Carlos didn't seem like a bad guy. She took a sip of the drink and made a small happy noise. The fruity drink hit the spot and helped to relax her a little more. She moved slightly away from him to stare at the rave. The music was loud and there were so many different people dancing. The noise was loud but she took the time to continue to sip her drink and continued to ration away the things she couldn't explain. It was definitely a costume type rave. It was amazing to see in a way, she was sure she'd never experience anything like this again. She closed her eyes, she was far enough away from the others to relax more.
The music was starting to get to her. She moved to the music, letting her hips sway.

Mia would stand, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched the Djinn. Her eyes narrowed as she observed his interaction with Carlos, somewhat curious now what had transpired last time that had made the tall shifter not want to return. Though only somewhat. She was not curious enough to ask.
Both Mia and Zella would look up to Faruq as he addressed them and explained how he knew their Mother. Mia would only nod, assuming he meant when she went by the name Tanapuhrr, having heard it mentioned or written a few times in her nosing around of her Mother's belongings. Zella, had no such knowledge, and while Mia seemed to hold little interest, Zella seemed almost curious enough to ask what he meant by old days. Her thoughts cut off as he smiled and asked of her name.
Lips pressed together, head tilted ever so curiously to the side. She wondered at Faruq's curious use of language. If it was intentional or habitual.
"I would believe many things, Gracious host. If a name you would know, then you may call me Zella."
He was curious, but he was also dangerous. Even as inviting as he seemed Zella would feel better after he had left. Though perhaps it was the two shadow wraiths that left with him. Mia didn't seem to care, stepping in the opposite direction as the wrait pulled away and moved back to the bar to order herself another drink.
Zella slipped over to Carlos and Alara with a smile. Thoughts running through her head.
"Alara. I just learned of a game that is played here. It will require you to listen to how people speak to you. For example. If someone asks you, "may I have your name?" The answer is, "You cannot, but you can refer to me as..." then make up something if it pleases you. If someone verbally asks you for something treat it as if they are going to literally take that something away from you. Okay?"
She'd smile a bit brighter and stand up straight, looking around the room. Some of them were obvious, some of them were not, but she could smell them. When she had the attention of Carlos, she'd mouth the word "Fae" and hope he understood. Clearly there were other creatures here but some of them were a bit more... soul damning than others.
Mia would slide up between Carlos and Alara, drink in hand and shit eating grin on her face. She'd take Alara by the hand and hook her arm with the drink around Carlos'.
"Well then! May I have a moment of your time?"
She'd snicker, having heard Zella instruct Alara just a moment before. She wouldn't wait for an answer, just pull them both out towards the dance floor with a chuckle, letting them go and moving out from between them to dance to the music the DJ was putting out. Zella would only shake her head and sigh. Mia wasn't wrong. That too was a dangerous question, though Mia for all she knew wasn't some kind of soul stealing succubus. And Alara better tell her no damn it.
Still she'd follow them to the dance floor, moving around a werewolf that had just torn through it's shirt and begin to wave it over it's head.

Carlos would take a casual sip of his drink. His eyes drawn to Alara as she began to feel the music. Her body moving in time with it. Carlos would squint, as her movements seemed to slow down in his vision, and a soft purple glow seemed to encase her. Carlos would shake his head and glance down at his drink. What the hell had that blue haired hottie given him? He should've been paying better attention when he basically had said bartenders choice. Whatever it was. It went from fun to making him feel like he was on a massive mushroom trip. He'd start feeling Mia's arm encircle his, dragging him and alara to the dance floor. He moved without argument, still taking sips of his incredibly strong and possibly laced drink. He'd blink his amber eyes at the three women that was his company. The music was enticing, like the way Alara had been dancing. Carlos found himself showing off his latin roots, with his own smooth dance moves. He'd glance at the girls, a challenging eyebrow raised at the three of them. Almost challenging one of them to come and dance with him. Carlos felt himself giving up on trying to maintain control of himself and just gave in to the reverie. He'd close his eyes feeling the music and how it made him hungry in a carnal fashion. Maybe it was the drink. Maybe it was the company. Perhaps both. But Carlos felt free. Free to be himself without zanders choke leash upon his neck.
His eyes would darken in color as he watched the 3 women with him. Each one of them had something enticing about them. They were certainly all easy on the eyes, that was for sure. Even scary Mia, was attractive to him whilst he was on the dance floor. These odd feelings and desires that he couldn't explain, caused him to drink a little harder at his drink. Which was probably only making things worse for him. But it didn't matter in that moment. He found that he just wanted to enjoy the moment. Blank out the stress of being Atraya's body guard, and entrusting her wellfare with someone else for the night. If he could enjoy the night and not think about Atraya. He'd call it a blessed night indeed. The only thing that could make it more of a fanfare was if he managed to find himself getting lucky. Not to say that he was going to have that kind of luck. But he wouldn't say no, given an opportunity. No strings were the best kind of nights. He could live his life guilt free. And not have the feels and attachment for a relationship that wouldn't last.
His life was far too chaotic to ever Pathum a relationship with anyone. Not that the opportunity had presented itself either. All he needed now to enjoy the rest of his evening was, to not run into Zaid and have him go all love sick puppy on him looking for Atraya. He still agreed with Faruq. They'd both had been spared a lot of trouble had the two lovers never met. Carlos didn't know what Atraya was thinking getting so deeply involved with someone. When it was in her best interest not to. Yet there she was, magnetized to the magical DJ. A part of Carlos questioned was it fate? or Destiny that brought those two together. It sure as hell couldn't be coincidental. That would be just too convenient. And in Carlos's world. Convenient was usually a bad thing. A planned thing. And Carlos didn't like surprises.

"No...wait..." Alara tried to be heard over the music but she wasn't sure Mia heard her, or cared at all as she tugged them to the dance floor. She looked back at Zella hoping that she was coming as well, when she did she caught sight of the werewolf and her eyes widen. What in the world...that was some amazing special effects he had going on. She shook her head and turned back to Carlos in time to see his moves and the challenging look in his eyes. Alara breathed in trying to calm down. It was just a dance...it wouldn't hurt to dance one little dance would it?
She finished her drink, maybe drinking it so quickly on a mostly empty stomach wasn't the wisest choice but she would think about that later. She moved closer to Carlos and reached up putting a hand on his chest. She was answering that challenging look with one of her own. Her body moved with the music and she pressed it close to his.

Zella followed behind the trio, catching Alara's gaze as she turned to look for her. She'd offer the girl a grin but Alara's eyes had landed squarely on the werewolf. She wasn't freaking out. That was good at least.
They'd all find their spot upon the floor. Both Zella and Mia would catch Carlos' challenging look. Mia's lips would curl into a wicked grin. Eyes of silvery blue would almost flash in the dim light as she swayed her hips to the music. Zella could only chuckle, though kept her gaze more so around them as she danced. She was maybe a little wary but mostly curious as this throng of different creatures all danced and sweated to the heavy music. Creatures that had no business being in the same proximity as one another and mingling together all enjoying themselves. Was it a trick of the music? Drugs slipped into the drink? The music was almost hypnotic and lent its self well to the dance with the glowsticks she had heard about.
Alara had moved in on Carlos and Mia's brows would arch upwards in surprise, her grin turning a bit less enticing and a bit more amused as the previously shy girl reached out to touch the man she had only met in a diner an hour or so ago. Drink in hand she'd make her way around, getting a good handful of Carlos' ass as she slipped by to her wide eyed sister. Mia would take Zella by the hand, turning her where she stood and pulling her in close. Zella would only laugh, but take half a step away. Mia would keep hold of her hand as she danced.
"Tell me, do you think there's a bottle or a lamp around here our host sleeps in?"
"Mia. I very much doubt that is how it works."
"No? Certainly there's a nugget of truth in the stories."
She'd chuckle and just grin, taking a sip of her drink. Going by her expression it would be hard to tell if she were joking or not.
"If you care you should ask him. Just leave your portal with me so I can get back to Africa after you entrap yourself."
Mia would laugh this time, spinning Zella once more.
"I wouldn't be the one in danger." The grin on her face could almost be described as threatening until she'd snicker and release Zella's hand to twirl herself. "No interest here. But then there's that."
And she'd motion with her head towards Alara and Carlos dancing next to them. To which Zella would only shake her head and shrug. Again, happy all seemed to be having a good time.

Faruq would watch the younglings with a quiet musing. How much did the twins resemble their mother...shattered pieces of her to be sure. He wondered idly at their father and who he was to have trapped Tanaphur's heart and tamed it. Well, as much as any could tame the wild goddess. He looked to the pair he'd brought with them, assessing them. The one named Carlos might enjoy working his bar if he'd had the time. They nymphs, dyads, dryads and sirens would love him. The incubi would hunger for him. It would be a bemusement to be certain. He watched Alara hungrily. Her naivete would taste so sweet. Just a taste of her soul would likely satiate him for a decade. His jaw would work back and forth through his hunger pains before he sighed. Not here...never here. They were his own rules after all. All the more the pity.
In the corner a Kindred and a Garou postured at each other. A Silver River and a Brujah. He was about to dispatch the wraiths to warn them when the Garou backhanded the Kindred across the floor nearly twenty yards. The wraiths would swirl, about to spring into action as the other creatures fell into a hush. Zaid, seeing this, stopped the music and slowly sunk behind the mixing gear out of sight. Faruq would wave his hand and the wraiths would vaporize, hiding in the corners out of sheer fear of their master. As Faruq stood, the blue runes on his skin would begin to glow a bright saphire. Mia, being attuned to such things, would feel her own energies begin to pulsate, almost as if her own soul was trying to flee. Invisible to those who could not see beyond the Veil, long, inky strands began to emanate around the djinn, writhing like oil through water and sucking the magic out of the room. His voice was a strained whisper, ringing like an ancient mantra emanating from a forbidden ritual of millennia past.
"Who dares to defy MY rules? Who brings violence into this place? All have been warned...all know the consequence. You have forfeited yourself to the Ancient Agreement...you have undone your right to exist. You are mine now..."
The young garou would look panicked, then try to flee into the umbra. He would nearly make it before the tendrils shot out and wrapped themselves around his being. To most it would seem as if the lights flickered and he was simply gone - a trick of poor lighting and an escapist's charm. Mia, however, would see the energies of the creature ripped apart on an atomic level. A small glowing orb would be all that was left, floating to Faruq through the air to rest in his hand. He would flick his wrist again and the orb would materialize like an apple in his hand. She could still see what it was through the glamour, but the shadows would recede and the air still.
"Would anyone else care to break my rules? Have you thought me soft and doddering in my age that I simply speak them for show? No? Then...LET'S PARTY!!!"
Zaid would pop back up nervously, as if on cue, and the music would fall like a crashing wave once more. Many would resume, pretending nothing had happened, but it would take several moments for the real joviality to return. Faruq would sit quietly, staring coldly at Mia as he took a large bite of the apple, his runes pulsating, then darkening. He would not chew, only consume the whole of it without a single blink.
Far from the sight of others, the young kindred picked himself up with a relieved sigh. None would see the shadows curl out, catch him and drag him away soundlessly into the darkness. He had to feed the help too, after all.

The music and party would come suddenly to a stop. Zella and Mia would look around curiously, neither within eyesight of the altercation and the wild mixture of smells wafting through the abandoned building making it impossible to have noticed what was coming. Yet both of them would notice as Faruq stood to his feet. Mia felt what she could only describe as a tightness in her gut, an almost animalistic instinct to flee as she witnessed what others in the room might not be able to see fully. She seemed frozen in place, hand gripping Zella's in absolute fascination.
Zella too had frozen in place, and while she could not see the disintegration of the Garou the way her sister could, she was under no illusion what was happening. Her gaze would flicker up to the Djinn and his glowing 'apple', seeing it for what it was. She'd almost growl, her own flight or fight telling her it would be wise to leave, and yet her rational voice telling her the rules were simple and they chose not to follow them.
She'd look back to Mia just as the music began to crash back over them. Silvery blue eyes had darkened. She looked hungry and the grin on her face looked manic. She'd lean into her sister, her voice low so that only Zella would hear.
"I wonder how he would taste. Would he panic? Knowing his essence was about to be torn to shreds in the same manner he deals with his guests?"
She'd giggle almost as if drunk, her breath catching in her throat as she wrapped her arms around Zella's neck in a hug.
"I could do it you know. If I'd just listen to them. Oh my Gods it is so tempting."
She'd almost whine then and Zella would reach out to take Mia by the shoulders and pull her away at arms length.
"I think it's time we go. Are you okay?"
The beat would drop again and she'd snicker, her nose wrinkling up cutely as she began to bounce to the music. Her eyes had bled back to the bright silvery blue as before as she allowed the infectious music of Zaid to enter her head. It called her to dance and be merry as it did everyone.
Zella too could feel her mood uplifted, though concern for her sister kept her from joining in the dance.
"Mia?"
"Hmm? What?!" She'd laugh, turning to look at Zella, not understanding at all what the concern was about.
"Oh come on. You've seen someone die before it's not that big of a deal. Do you need something to drink? C'mon. Lets get everyone a drink."
Mia would grin and move back over to Alara and Carlos, making the universal sign for drink and pointing to the bar and their empty glass.
"We'll bring you something!" Big thumbs up like they couldn't hear her before she'd whoot and drag off Zella to the bar.

Carlos would suck his breath in, when Alara would put her hand on his chest and move closer to his body pressing her soft alluring body against his own. He’d move with her and in time with the music and once more she mesmerized him. His Amber eyes holding her challenging gaze. His free hand would fall to the upper part of her middle back, he was too tall to reach her waist without bending over too awkwardly in that position to make it comfortable for both of them.
He would just have lifted his drink to his lips when he felt a distinctly female had grab his ass, in a way he very much enjoyed. He’d wiggle his ass in response to whomever had, had the gall to grab it. Much to his surprise when he looked down and saw it was Mia who’d been the ass grabber. He’d smirk a little at her, an almost saucy look on his face, almost daring her to do it again. But also there in the look said he liked it.
Carlos felt good. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt this good. Life was beautiful in that moment. Was it the drink? The beautiful woman dancing against him? Or was it the two sexy killer twins that danced beside them? All he could feel and think about in that moment was the feel and press of Alara against his body. And how amazing the music was. He was feeling a little to hot and undid the collar and first couple of buttons of his shirt, showing off a bit of skin, pressing his cold drink his warm chest.
For the first time he wasn’t thinking about anything but having a good time. Having fun and relaxing. He must’ve been intoxicated by whatever drink the bartender had surprised him with. Because there was a sudden commotion behind him, and even at his height he couldn’t fully see what went on, but he watched in semi horror and also pity for whatever fucker just got the wraiths involved. But he did move his body between it and Alara out of habit.
The music had come to a stand still as everyone seemed to pause and cower as Faruq made his second speech before decarling it time to party. Carlos had to swallow as a brief moment of de ja vu hit him as he tried to shake off the images of the wraiths. Immediately though he fell right back into the throng of the music as Zaid began to play again. Carlos would close his eyes and just feel the music, his drink and whoever else decided to get a piece of his man flesh.

The music and the feeling of Carlos so close to her was helping make things better. She was actually enjoying herself so when the commotion happened she would only pout a bit. Carlos blocked her view, not that she could see much with her height but the stopping of the music was making her come back to her senses if only just a bit. The magician who had talked to them earlier was so very upset, she could hear that much at least. When the music came back on she watched the way Carlos seemed to just give into the music again. Whatever happened must not have been that important if people were starting to move as if nothing had happened in the first place.
Alara looked over at Mia and Zella offering them a grateful smile, for them offering to get them new drinks. A new drink would help her get back into letting go. She started moving to the music again but this time she was only slightly guarded, needing another drink to loosen herself back up enough. She wanted to continue the earlier dance.

Mia and Zella would approach one of the bars scattered throughout the building. While the sensation to have a good time and overall, just be happy would still flow through everyone's mind, Zella would note the effects did not seem as strong over here. Perhaps it was their proximity to the boxes where the music emanated from. She'd narrow her gaze and look at the bard standing on the dias, punching in things to the strange instrument in front of him, his facial expressions hidden by a bandanna.
Mia squeezed her way into a spot so that she could lean against the bar and get the tender's attention, much to the annoyance of those that had been waiting there already but due to the recent events, weren't willing to make any kind of a scene. Unbeknownst to them the owner's eyes were also upon his guests and for some reason that made them feel as if they should back away and find drinks elsewhere.
"Lets see... Sex on the beach for fish bait. Carlos seems like a Jaeger bomb kind of guy. Zella.... how about a long island ice tea. Me. Whiskey straight. Whatever top shelf you have. Woodford, Gentlemen Jack, Old Forester, Evan Williams, Pappy Van Winkle..." She'd pull a twenty out of her pocket and slip it into the tip jar, turning around to see Zella staring at her.
"What? You need to loosen up. You're so high strung. Those Drow you lived with really got you on pins and needles huh."
Zella would only roll her eyes. Mia didn't know her life.
"I am only concerned. Who is tempting you?"
Mia chuckled, shaking her head. "Just some fuckers that keep spamming my head. About as persistent as the people who keep calling about my car's extended warranty. Can't seem to completely kick them out so I just drown them out with random trivia and music."
"Spamming? What is... nevermind... This doesn't concern you? Who are they?"
"Cotton candy grapes."
"What?"
Mia would snicker, beginning to laugh as the memory of crashing her brother's house while he and Princess were off doing whatever important thing they were doing, and his reaction when he finally got home.
"It's not important. C'mon. Help me out here."
Before Zella could protest she'd reach over the bar, handing Zella the drinks for herself and Carlos while Mia took hers and Alara. She'd take a sip of the whiskey and roll it around in on her tongue, tilting her head to the side and looking to the bartender.
"Angel's Envy?" The bartender would nod and Mia would just give a big smile. "Nice! And... weirdly ironic."
Zella hadn't wanted to drop the subject but at this point felt like Mia was drowning her out as she sashayed past her and made her way back to Alara and Carlos, handing Alara the full glass.
"Sex on the beach for Fish Bait!"
Zella would come up, handing the other drink to Carlos. "Mia ordered it, I do not know what it is."

Faruq would sense Mia's intent with a blithe smile, wondering if she truly knew what she was dealing with. His smile faded as he felt an energy from millenia back pulse in his Reverie. He hadn't felt it since the Oathbreaker had come to him to commit mass genocide and sought a prison to torture the souls for eternity. Others had been involved, but the djinn had insulated the realm with permeable magic to allow siphoning off soul energy and allow for regeneration. The souls could never be consumed or die, only drained and sustained. Thus their agony was complete. By the laws of balance, he offered them retribution for those who used their energy to claim those souls upon death and torture them for eternity in return. He knew of Tanaphur, but would this mean that her father....?
Quietly whispering wards, he surrounded himself in the Olde Magicks, then quietly reached out and altered Mia's drink as she consumed it. The magic was not offensive, and thus his own rules were not broken. It simply seeped into her mind and removed her resistance and ambitions. The curious djinn had to know what was going on with her at any cost. If she acted out in violence she would be spared as she was interfered with. As he did not take aggressive action, he would not have to self terminate. As a djinn, he knew his loopholes, even to his own rules.
With anticipation, he quietly watched.

Carlos would carefully take the drink glass full of redbull and the shot glass of jaguer from Zella. Trying to maintain the weak smile on his face. Jaguer was not his favorite. If anything he wished he remembered the name of the purple drink he'd started with. What was it a purple tornado? a purple tsunami?
It had been delicious and 'magical'. He wouldn't be surprised if it had some magic fungus infused in its boozy roots. But it had made things more interesting. Carefully, he'd lift the glass with redbull to cheers with the ladies. 'Thank you and cheers ladies' He'd clink his glass to each of theres before dropping in the shot glass and shooting the whole thing in one giant gulp. Shaking his head in a sharp shudder similiar to someone who'd just taken a decent shot of tequila.
'Perhaps I should pick the next round of drinks?' He suggested lightly, not wanting Mia or Zella to take offense to their presumed choice of drinks he would like. Beggars couldn't be choosers after all. He'd find a spot with some other empty glasses from other patrons and added his own to the collection, so that his hands were free once more.
He'd taken a moment to stand back and enjoy the music and watch the ladies he was with. Momentarily abandoning Alara with the twins. But she didn't seem to mind, or notice as the girls had handed her a fresh drink, and the music was incredibly intoxicating. It made Carlos borderline euphoric feeling. He found himself wanting to be closer to his little group of females. They were all so...pretty... Carlos would slap himself as hard as he could across the face, trying to make him snap out of whatever weird mental head game was causing him to be more impulsive and carnal in his thoughts, than he should've been. Was it the music or was it the drinks?
He'd slowly make his way back to the ladies, having 'caught' his breath and freed his hands, he'd wiggle or rather moved his hips rhythmically enough to squeeze between the three of them, making himself the center of their little triangle. Carlos was feeling good. Real good. Good enough he went so far as to unbutton a few of the top buttons of his shirt, to "cool" himself down. After all it was getting hot in more ways than one on that dance floor.
