she said before drinking a healthy cup of coffee to give Frank a moment to absorb that little tidbit of information she'd forgot to mention. of course in her defense, the last thing she was thinking bout was Zaid and who exactly he was to her or that Frank had no idea that she'd hired him on as the newest intern.
'yeah he fancy creamers are bit sweet, arent they?' she smirked at Frank a little.

"Well ain't that something... He was a really nice kid, kind soul. I'm glad that through some kind of strange twist of fate he wound up working with you Mora. How's he working out for you? I don't mean to pry, I'm just curious. Being cooped up at home and away from the station I'm missing out on all the gossip."

she'd laugh at his comment about missing out on the gossip. And think for a moment. 'we had a rocky start, but I feel like we've smothed it over since then. he doesn't seem like a bad kid. just awkard' she'd glance over at frank wondering what he'd say to that.

Frank just chuckled and took another sip of coffee. "We've all been there though haven't we Mora? Started a new job, new relationships and new surroundings. It's rare that these situations aren't awkward. I'm glad to hear he's settling in and working out for you now though."

she shrugged a little bit ' Honestly it was probably a bit more me than him in all honesty. I'm not exactly social, infact I'd warrant I'm rather socially awkward. I do better on one on ones than I do groups'. She'd look at him. 'you?'

Frank smiled, "The job kind of forced me into being a people person. But, I gotta say, I do prefer one on one situations like this one we're having." He took another sip of his coffee and winked at her. Then, he would stand and place his empty mug on her counter.
"Thank you for the coffee and the hospitality Mora. I think it's time to flip our loads downstairs."

She'd smile behind her cup when he winked at her and stood up. she'd finish her own cup of coffee, before standing and putting her mug next to his on the counter. 'I completely forgot about the laundry' she said a bit impishly. And shrug a little at him.

Frank grinned and looked down at Mora fondly, "Lest you forget your bloomers in the washer and they get mildewed smelling. Nothing worse than moldy underpants." He would nod then, in all seriousness, who the heck wants moldy gonchies? "Shall we? And don't forget your keys hehe." He gave his robe a tap to make sure he slipped his lockpicking kit in the pocket.

She'd make a face at him when he mentioned molding underpants. but made sure to grab her keys from the floor where they'd been the entire time. 'don't worry I wont make you pick my lock again any time soon' she shot her cat a death look. before smiling at frank. 'we shall'

"It was nothing Mora, really, I would gladly put my lock pick in your keyhole any time you need it." He would nod seriously with a grin, the wiley old detective loved dirty innuendos... got him in all kinds of trouble, but he always seemed to squeek his way out by playing dumb to it.
He crossed his arms as he waited for the elevator with her. "I don't think they make the parts for this thing anymore, it'd probably be cheaper to demo the building than put a new one in... Elevators are such an expensive and ridiculously specialized business..."

Oh she caught on to the dirty innuendo and shook her head 'your awful.' She would nod in aggreement about the elevator. 'But if the demo the building we wont have a place to live, unless you're looking for 2 roomates, one being a fat fuck and the other one just creepy as fuck' she said with a wink.

"Well, I certainly wouldn't be bored with a dynamic duo like that in my life." He would step inside the elevator which arrived with a ding and hold the door for her. Once inside he hit the button to get down to the lobby and the laundry facilities.
"I'm glad we got to spend a bit of time together today Mora. It's nice to feel like I've got a friend upstairs and not some stranger with a really heavy footed kid... Listen, you ever need anything just give me a call. Don't waste your time with Jimbo, I can take care of anything in these units, I just save the receipts from any materials and hand em in to the office."

Mora would return the smile he offered and nod slowly. It was nice to know there was someone in the building she knew. And now they knew each other outside of the work space, which took some pressure off getting acquainted with someone. She chuckled. 'I don't think you could handle what a pain in the ass Niklaus is...' casting an almost shy smile at him. Before chuckling. 'I'll keep that in mind, I'll change you're name in my phone to the maintenance man' she teased. Relieved to know that at least someone could be of help when she needed it.

"Well that's better than being in there as old dirty pervert I suppose." Frank chuckled and stepped outside the elevator. He would walk with Mora to the laundry room and flip his load to the dryer, making sure to throw in a dryer sheet. "Need a bounce sheet?"

She'd tease. But nod yes for the dryer sheet as she popped her clothes into the dryer.
