"Enough."
The voice boomed. Lilith wasn't completely sure from where it came from amongst the chaotic sounds of the tornado, the lightning, and the crumbling earth. She'd take a chance, grip her sword tight and spread her wings to catch the wind.
The comet struck the stone she had stood upon and kept falling, continuing to fall into complete nothingness after it disintegrated the rock.
Lilith hovered in the darkness. There was no earth. There was no sky. There was no wind that actually kept her aloft as the tornado that Duex had produced had vanished as his comet drifted passed. It was as if they had been transported into a nothingless void. Had Duex actually destroyed the planet?
"Did ya forget in whose realm you two little Godlin's decided ta' wage ya war? Ah've got too much ta' clean up already."
There was a touch of agitation in that southern drawl that came from everywhere and nowhere at once. Then a purr, a purr that grew quickly and with such intensity that one could feel it reverberate within their chest. Lilith winced, and reached to cover her ears, her heart pounding so hard she thought it was going to pound out of her chest. She didn't understand what was going on. Was this simply the sound? Was this fear? She felt paralyzed, and even though her wings moved a little bit, she did not seem to go anywhere.
Duex would not be immune and would be forced out of his comet form, him and Lilith, yards away from each other, the only things visible in this pocket. Though with a sense of dread it wouldn't feel as if they were alone.
"witch...." Lilith would mutter through clenched teeth, holding her sword out in front of her in both hands, looking for something or someone to cut so that their souls would be forever lost within the sword.
"Goddess...." The voice would boom and the reverberating sound would intensify only on Lilith, the vibration completely disorienting the Darkling Fae. She'd cry out and a small spark of gold from her anklet pierced the darkness. In a flash Lilith was gone, transported far away to where the Fae visualized a safe haven.
"Pity." The voice would almost pout and the vibrating sound lessened.
Duex would not be able to see, but feel the sensation of coarse fur trailing down his arm.
"Son-in-law. Where should ah send you? Hm?"
