A pair of fairies drunkenly stumbled into Faruq's office, bottle in one hand and high heels held in another by the heel straps, wobbling drunkenly and giggling. Their rainbow wings tinkled like silver bells as they fluttered out of time and they stared around with glazed eyes.
"OOOOOOH FA-ROOOOOO-KEYYYYY! We're here as promised! Faruq-ey?"
They'd blink as the office was devoid of their favorite plaything. Huffing in disappointment at being stood up, their disappointment would quickly fade at the glee of being in his office alone. Decorated with artifacts that ranged from ancient Mesopotamia to world war II Germany, they dropped their shoes and giggled as they ran around touching things they had never been allowed to go near previously. Bronze Greek phalanx shields, polished and oiled lugers, saints bones and a myriad of currencies all displayed in glass cases or wall hangings. There was art of various historical styles that one would swear were familiar but undiscovered. There was a small oil painting of Faruq himself with a half smile and the initials LDV in the bottom right corner. One of the fairies pulled her dress strap haphazardly back onto her shoulder and found a strange item on the back shelf, her eyes going wide. Picking up the iron phallus inlaid with jade, she turned with a wicked look in her eye to her companion.
"If Faruq-ey isn't here, maybe we can take care of ourselves, hm?"
He would playfully turn, holding the strange device in her hand by her pelvis with a wicked look in her eyes and motion suggestively. Reaching out a thin fingered hand, she'd begin to stroke it even more suggestively with a wicked giggle.

Zawba'ah would sigh, listening to Zim. He hated having a monkey on his back, but at least it was Zim. He would play the game as he had no choice. This would not end well, and he dreaded being sealed away for 1,000 years if it came to that. It would be his first time, but other djinn had suffered such a fate before, so he supposed it might be inevitable. At least Zim was giving him time to counter maneuver and, as he'd stated, he'd be fair about it. At least he had a chance. He turned to speak before the whole beach around them began to rumble and shake as if an earthquake had hit them.
"Hold on, everyone...this will be....unpleasant."

With a green puff of smoke they were all ejected into Faruq's office in a large cone on the floor before the fairy holding Faruq's vessel. Splaying out onto the floor and knocking over end tables and chairs, they would be on their backs and chests. Anaiel had reshaped his vessel as a cruel joke during the 60's due to his indulgent behavior. The poor young woman that had found it the 1st time answer had had a very bad evening and several years of therapy after. Faruq, now back to his Reverie glamour, laid on his back in his suit and roared at the top of his lungs.
"DAMN IT EFFERNEY! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I SAID NOT TO TOUCH MY THINGS!!!!"
He would cough, stand and dust himself off. He would ignore the others and help Zim up.
"Zim Zim Bala Bim, meet Efferney and Riverwing. Perhaps you might entertain them while I find you some quarters befitting your status while you're 'visiting' me. I'm sure they'd love to 'ask' you for some favors."
He was, in effect, offering Zim an evening meal if the two air-headed fairies were foolish enough to make a deal with him. Fairy souls tasted rather like powdered donuts to Faruq, sweet and light - a delicacy. He'd planned to revel, deal and dine with them after this business was over - but as a courtesy he would offer them to his guest of honor in kindness to his friend. He had to be hungry after his travels. Finally turning to the others, he sighed.
"I have done what I can for your friend. It is your problem now. However, I have other business to attend to. A pleasure to meet you. Mia, you are a spicy young thing. Come visit if you ever need anything. The rest of you, well. Goodbye."
He'd wave his hand dismissively and they would immediately find themselves in the abandoned shipyard where the Reverie had been. Without the illusion glamor, it would be nothing more than a dilapidated building with rats and the smell of urine and broken dreams. Mia would find a small jade card with a silver "F" written in caligraphy stuffed in her peeling cleavage. Unlike Zaid's black card, the green one would lead Mia to wherever Faruq himself was as opposed to the Reverie.
Dawn was breaking and the horizon was a beautiful shade of rose and gold. Some night.
