Quietly she'd watch as Vespyr removed one of his leather gloves and reached over to barely touch her thigh. The simple act always sent brief tingles up her spine but not from the touch its self. It was the trepidation in which he reached out and the almost reverence upon his face once his skin touched hers. How often had she been complimented and her beauty compared to great works of art. Meaningless and empty sounds that repeated so often they were but noise to her ears. Not once had Vespyr used such words in an attempt to clumsily woo the Drowess, he instead needed only to look upon her with that fierce gaze that saw her as more than just the sexual object she was meant to be. It was why she agreed to return to this nest of vipers again and again. It being rare that she ever felt this engaged.
He'd stand from his seat, taking his prized skull with him to replace it back into his curio after listening to his explanation of where the skull came from.
"Malcolm sounds like a formidable foe. While I doubt he would see it this way, you honor him and his memory." She'd quietly muse as she watched him. The thought crossing her mind that one day her own head might end up in that cabinet. Perhaps it was just as well. Most beings, herself included, were meant to die. She did not fear death, but attempted to embrace life and seek out the thrills that it afforded when presented her way.
Ilimetha would take his hands as he returned, standing and moving to the floor to ceiling windows that provided the full panoramic views of the city, the floating zeppelin that circled the CdG tower drifting slowly nearby with its reminder that they were always watching. A fact that simply accentuated the reason why Vespyr was troubled as he recounted his day. The more he explained, the more his ire came through in his voice and the colder the air around them grew. The glass began to frost over and she would breathe out, the warm air steaming from her lips as they parted. If she was uncomfortable from the cold, she would not show it.
He would not give her the time to comment on the look alikes of his sister and the dead gnome before turning to face her. The Drowess would only smile softly as she locked with his intense gaze and he explained what he needed. She did not recall seeing him this troubled before. The thought that this was how she would die crossed her mind and it only caused her features to soften the more. The bloodlust of the Puhrmann family was well known and their inner beast was rumored to rival even the most insatiable of vampires. She would die in his bed when everything became too much to control.
She'd nod in approval of his request, reaching up with slender fingers to first pull necklace with the ring out of his shirt and gently lay it flat within eye sight. She had seen it many times, it was more to bring him comfort. She'd then reach up to pull the two hair pins that held her silken hair atop her head. Each one gold, spiked, and adorned with a bauble that looked to have a shimmering liquid inside each. One teal, one magenta. One for pleasure, one for pain. She'd run fingers through her thick hair and allow it to uncurl and fall down her back before setting the hairpins down on a side table.
"I need only an hour of your time to properly indulge you. The other 37 minutes is bonus."
She'd lightly chuckle, stepping in and wrapping her fingers around the fabric of his jacket to pull him against her. She'd brush her velveteen lips against his own, gently at first, and then with more hunger. She'd pull away for but a moment to whisper near his ear.
"Your time starts now...."

Max's head cocked to the side slightly in the same fashion as Niwyn did. Her mouth was open slightly, this definately was not her sweet sweet Niwyn that she knew that could capture the hearts of the people and make them see the dystopic reality they were truely trapped in. This one was quick on her feet with a tongue like a razor. And, a twin sister? The leader of the secret police had a twin sister? The resistance had no intel of this, and one of the key members shared a bed with Mia Puhrmann's mother for a time... Surely they would have known of a twin sister. She lowered the blade, the tip entering the water and touching the concrete below. She leaned on the hilt pensively as steam rose up below her from the bacteria evaporating and the water being purified at the tip of the blade. "That's the name I've always known you by... You're in the city of Meridian, you're Niwyn Tinkbottle the former face of the resistance against the CdG. Tana Puhrmann and her spawn... Zella you say? Spitting image of Tana's daughter, the leader of the secret police. I watched our Niwyn get murdered by Mia Puhrmann, either you're escaped clones or life model decoys of some kind, or maybe fell in a portal from another dimension? With a mouth like that, you're definately not our Niwyn. Max let out a sigh, "The CdG has turned this world into a police state, a dystopia. If the two of you were spotted, Vespyr is hunting you with his tech and algorithms. Mia will be hot on your tail with her shock troopers. We have less than a minute before they are on us." Max raised the sword once more and slashed it through the air opening a rift in the fabric of reality. "Come, I have a place they cannot track us. But be warned, if this is a trick, I'll feed you all to the weregecko...."

Niwyn would "EEP" as she was swept behind her cousin for protection. Her eyebrows would fall, creasing into a bored, unimpressed line across her eyes. She didn't hold it against her cousin for being protective, but she clearly had no idea of what the gnome was capable of. Well, typically capable of. This place was slowly irritating her more and more. Sure, people got her last name wrong, up was down and black seemed white, but taking away her ability to fly?? No, she was definitely starting to get bent. Her little legs strut back around Zella as Max spoke, her tone flat and sarcastic.
"Yeah, that's what my cousin said Sugartits...we ain't from around her. We ain't clones and we certainly ain't body doubles. I'm me, she's her, and we are who we say we are. Sorry your world is a shithole, but why do we need to be afraid of Vespyr? What is he going to do - bore me to death with his social awkwardness? Or is he going to go crying home to Auntie Ahanna that I hurt his feelings? Pfft. And why am I not surprised Mia has shock troops? I'm surprised she even cares, though. I'm tellin' ya, Zells....this place is weird."
*She would gently lift Goopy from her shoulder, petting him like Goldfinger's cat.
"Whatta ya think, Goops? Do we go with her? Shit...I suppose I have to just to see this weregecko she's threatening me with. You comin' Zells?"
Snapping her teeth as Maxine, roughly up to her crotch, Niwyn hopped through the portal with a bored sigh. What did she have to lose anyway? This woman had a sword that wasn't affected by whatever was dampening the Weave. Maybe she had answers. Better than being in this sewer which smelled like the wrong end of a gully dwarf.

Zella would stand from her crouch as tensions began to dissipate. She'd listen to Max explain where they were and what was generally going on. Zella would simply shake her head. Perhaps she was beginning to become desensitized to the strangeness being tossed her way. It wasn't long ago after all she had lived her life in Faerun, only to be taken to Terra, and now... Meridian? This place seemed to have even more strange devices than Terra. She wouldn't even seem surprised when Max opened up a rift into another location.
"This place is strange Winnie." She'd reply in agreeance with her cousin. She supposed she didn't yet know her sister that well, but for all of the crazy she had witnessed she got the impression Mia would at least never lay a finger on Niwyn. And Vespyr was with her? She could only assume this Tana then was her Mother of this world though she would be unfamiliar with the name.
Her two toned gaze would turn from Max and look to Niwyn as she asked if she was coming. She supposed now she had no choice. Niwyn was headstrong and she felt she had a duty to look after her little cousin. It would take both of them together to get out of this mess, if they could at all.
"Of course."
And with that she'd step through and follow Niwyn through this portal.
-------
Mia's phone would buzz in her clutch. Her attention would shift from Duex sitting in front of her to the phone as she pulled it out of the small purse to read the message from her brother. Her eyes would narrow and she'd frown. The sewers? How many times had tips proven fruitless. If Vespyr is calculating their location however, perhaps there was more to that area than met the eye.
Casually she'd hand the phone over to Duex while she picked up her chopsticks one more to lift a delicate slice of tuna tataki. Casually she'd swirl it in the ponzu sauce on the plate.
*Mia - they are in the sewers. 2 mile radius of Central Park. I know you've swept that area multiple times - but there is a 98.63% probability that I'm right based on my calculations.*
"I have troops near that area and can assemble a small force in less than a minute. Unless you want a crack at this and can have people move just as fast?"
She'd ask, looking up to her husband as she placed the slice of fish in her mouth. It was a chance, and the first time she had hesitated in sending out her orders. But as Vespyr said she had already swept that area multiple times. Perhaps Duex and his connections could find something she overlooked. But time was ticking.

Deux gently swirled the plum wine in his glass as he met his wife's gaze.
"Hmph. No. I think the CdG can handle this one for now. We'll send my boys in if we need something leveled."
He finished the wine in one gulp, then held up one finger.
"Ya know....On second thought, I have a guy. Russian fellow, uh,..he goes by the name 'Boris the Blade'. He's good at finding people for me... I'll send him down there to take a look."

Niwyn and Zella would step through into a secure looking room, thick steel door with a large observation window. In the center of the room was a pedestal looking apparatus that was connected to a rat's nest of electrical cables that exited through various pipe chases at the back of the room. It was dimly lit, poured concrete walls. Their ears though, they would be immediately accosted by some loud rap music. The song playing in the background with base pumping was 'Isis' by Joyner Lucas featuring Logic.
Max stepped through the rift immediately behind them and pointed the Enforcer at the rift. An arc of white lightning struck the rift and it was gone in a flash. She walked to the pedestal and slid the blade inside of it up to the hilt. The lights brightened as she did so. Max held her left index and middle fingers to her temple and rubbed, she let out an annoyed huff. "Zeddy! How many times do I have to tell you! If you are going to listen to that crap you need to put your headphones on!"

Mia arched a delicate brow, an otherwise impassive face perhaps hiding her disappointment in his initial response. He was so enthusiastic earlier about finding these imposters. Perhaps she had misjudged his intentions.
"Very well."
She took her phone back, pulling up her app, circling the location Vespyr had indicated, and clicking the activate button. Immediately a high alert would send to all agents in the vicinity. Little dots would begin to populate as at least 10 shock troops were pinged.
Mia would glance up from her device as Deux began to speak with his held up finger.
"Boris the blade..."
She'd repeat flatly, tilting her head to the side before the corners of her lips would quirk up in amusement.
"I've already alerted a small group of troops. I will include the description of your agent and hopefully we'll not get in each other's way."
She'd hold up her glass of plum wine in a short toast, not bothering to wait on him seeing as he already consumed his entire glass. A challenge perhaps. To see who could find these variants first.
------------------------------
Zella slipped through the portal with Niwyn, her eyes taking in the area quickly to judge her surroundings. No quick exits. These electrical gadgets she still did not fully understand filling the room. Then the sound. Was that supposed to be music? Her head would tilt to the side as her mind tried to process what could be interpreted as musical notes in the background with a heavy beat. Lightning would seem to strike and close the rift, the lights in the room brightening as Max put away the enchanted blade.
She'd look back to Max, taking a moment more to gauge the pale skinned woman. Zella wasn't too comfortable with how nonchalant she seemed to be at the moment. Either the woman was giving them the benefit of the doubt they were who they said they were or she was simply that confident that no matter what the two strange women wouldn't be a challenge.
"We also have a Z'ress." She'd comment, glancing once more around the room for a large good-natured weregator. "I assume he is the weregecko you were speaking of?"

Niwyn would step through the portal, her tiny hand slipping up into Zella's almost reflexively. The little gnome noted that the Lady Max's sword seemed to function with relative reflexive ease. Pulling on the air gently with her mind and soul, even in this place the weave did not yield to her command. She could still feel it present, but something still blocked her. By deduction, then, magic weapons worked in this place, but direct magic was inhibited. Niwyn would sneer in frustration at the meddling. As her frustration rose, the lights would flicker for a moment and static would rise in the air then with a light crackle went back to normal. Listening to the music that Zella mentioned, Niwyn came back to herself and her brow furrowed.
"No...no that's not right. Zeddy's a were-gator, not a weregecko...that would mean..."
Niwyn's hand would raise gently to slip under Goopy's feet and lowering him from her shoulder to eye level. Staring at him for a moment, her eyes would slowly rise to find Zella's.
"No...it couldn't be...."

Impossibly hot breath. Fingertips soft as silk and firm as reeds. A sea of white hair flowing like a cloud around the sheets. The sounds emanating from her throat, some soft and breathless, others incapable of repression. The impossible juxtaposition of the softness and firmness of her flesh as it wrapped around him. He was a master of time itself, and yet he could not control this moment and its messy perfection. She would not die tonight, rather escort him to heaven.
*~*~* A cloaked figure moved through the dark alleys toward the CdG building, coming up towards the side entrance. The guard there turned suddenly as he heard the beep of the retinal scanner behind him. Drawing his sidearm, he pointed it at the figure's head, not shooting only because he was confused how the figure had appeared without his noticing. Starting to squeeze the trigger, the guard immediately stopped as the computer voice sounded.
"Identity confirmed: Vespyr Puhrmann - 98.6% match Access: Granted. Welcome home, my Lord."
The guard fumbled his gun as he tried to holster it, his mouth flapping soundlessly like a guppy on land, unsure if he should apologize or stay silent. In the end, the guard saluted and stood silently at attention as the figure reached a gloved hand up to the handle and pulled it open, offering a dark growl to secure the appropriate finality of the exchange. The figure moved swiftly down the hall and out of the locker room he was in to the security wing. Slipping into a cubicle, he pulled a glove off and scanned his thumb across it. The station buzzed to life.

1 hour and 32 minutes later he found himself implacably in front of his bathroom mirror, covered in sweat. His perfectly sculpted hair matted and thrown wildly about his face. His eyes would turn golden, slitting into a piercing feline gaze, his snarling lips showing a touch of fang. Running his hand through the silver-white strands, he licked his lips and took a deep controlling breath. Pursing his lips, time itself seemed to slow down, the world almost pausing. Moving through the cascading shower he'd turned on, he washed himself thoroughly. Combing his hair, he'd dress and don his gloves. Smoothing his clothing and plucking any dust specks off, he nodded. Moving to the bedside, Ilimetha was frozen in time. He marveled how like a perfect sculpture she was - naked, a silk sheet wrapped around one thigh, a stark contrast to her ebony skin and golden tattoos. Reaching down, he slid his hand into his pocket. Pulling out a small pad, he transferred what would be more than a year's salary of credits for most of Meridian into her account. He had people that maintained the records and could do it, but he always did it himself as a personal reminder not to get attached. He would walk over to his console, pulling up the sewers and reports to determine what actions Mia had taken, time suddenly spinning back into real time. 2 minutes had passed.

And then a giant of a Gecko wheeled over in front of the observation window. He was wearing a black leather vest, clad with gold chains and a big letter "Z" dangling from his neck. A green light would come on a small speaker on the inside of the window at the bottom. "Awwww Shiiiiit! Sorry boss ladayyy! Ivan went topside to feed so I thought I'd pump some bass up in hurrr.... Wait, da fuq is Dat? Niwyn? I thought she died! Lawd Mercy our sweet sweet Niwyn has..." Zeddy saw the white haired woman he knew as the evil Mia Puhrmann... His Gecko maw opened wide to reveal.... a lack of razor sharp teeth, in fact, they were very small and not threatening at all. There was at least 100 of them, but not at all threatening. What would happen next would be an involuntary attack/feeding response and a long sticky tongue would lash out and stick to the glass right in line with Zella's face. Were the glass not there, her head would no doubt be in the giant Gecko's non threatening maw by now.
"Gyyack! Waaah? Uss a aap in iss ish ash!!" Dual glock 9 millimeters were drawn from under the vest and pointed at the glass, which was ridiculous considering it was bullet proof. For being a technical genius, he didn't do so well when he felt threatened or was taken by surprise.
Max raised her hand, her commanding presence resounding once more. "Stand down Z'ress, this is not the Mia and Niwyn of this world, they are from outside of this reality and have become stranded here."

Deux sighed. Everything had to be a competition with this woman. He secretly loved it.
"Boris, right. They call him 'the Uzbekistanian', but he's definitely former Russian special forces . Older fellow with a salt and pepper beard. I believe he's human, but I know he's been modified in some way. ... In a nutshell, he's an ex KGB assassin that specializes in knives and blades." He smirked. "Pretty cut and dry, eh?"
He poured another glass of wine. "There's more." he took a quick sip and placed the glass down.
"I'll tell you why I hired him. There may be a reason you've never heard of old Boris. Generally, when there is a profit involved, he never leaves witnesses. He is the most ruthless mortal I've ever met. He's survived everything I've thrown him at, somehow. I originally discovered him bleeding out in a hallway of a dilapidated apartment building in the Greenford area of London with seven bullet wounds. He was already having a bad day when he met me. "
He chuckled.
"Boris was just sitting there with a damn hot water bottle on his head, and would you believe it... he had dragged his swiss cheese ass all the way from Lambeth, and he was trying to sleep it off in his apartment! It was the wildest thing I'd ever seen!"
Deux was clearly smiling, like he was proud of it. "Long story short, I saved his ass, and he's worked for me ever since."
Deux McCarrion wrapped his large frame around Mia and squeezed her lovingly in a firm embrace as he gently lifted her off her feet. He began texting with his free hand.
"There. The Blade has been on light duty for a long while, but I think it's time we give him a little challenge on this one. I've already messaged him."
Deux openly laughed as he carefully balanced his wife in his arms, minding her wine.
"Heh. This will be fun. I just notified Boris. Heh heh. No guns!"

Zella would look down to Niwyn as she held the tiny Goopy in her hand. Her brows would arch upwards. Was she suspecting this weregecko the Lady Max mentioned was actually Goopy. She supposed it was possible but in truth she wouldn't really know. This was wyld magics the likes she had not encountered before. Really... all of this was stuff she had not really encountered before. Perhaps the reason she seemed to be handling all of this so well was because of the overwhelming number of new things that were being thrown at her within the last few hours. Zella could be running on pure adrenaline masked as an air of calmness under pressure. To Niwyn she could only shrug and shake her head. If it was Goopy then they were about to find out, she would only hope there wouldn't be some magic ramifications of two of them being in the same room.
The muffled sound of a chair rolling across a floor would bring Zella's attention over to the closed off observation room. The voice was right, she supposed, but everything else was all wrong. He was the wrong type of creature and the way he spoke was horrendous.
He'd open his mouth and Zella would note the movement of his tongue. She'd dodge and raise her hand, moving it to grasp at the offensive thing should it have broken the glass. Her gaze would narrow, looking down at the drawn weapons in his hands and simply frown. Then Max would call out in a commanding voice for him to stand down.
Zella would almost seem to relax as she looked down to Niwyn and shook her head.
"No. I do not think this is what you were thinking...."
------------------------
Mia looked over to Duex as he began to almost excitedly provide her with information she had not asked for.
"I'll tell you why I hired him...."
"Oh please Pumpkin, don't let me stop you...." She'd quip in as she swirled her wine in her glass in an almost sarcastic manner. She'd give him the attention he'd need, listening to his story as she sipped her wine and he amused himself. It was his sudden jovial nature that she watched and amused herself with, more so than his story that she barely listened to.
"That's nice...I hope...." He had finished his story and she would immediately turn her attention back to her phone, looking to see where her agents were on the map and how many had actually began to converge on the location sent before large arms would wrap around her, lifting her off her feet. It would cut off her words and her train of thought. Besides her Mother and Brother, Duex was the only one who had ever had the privilege of touching her, much less in such an informal manner. It had thrown off her troops some of the first few times she and Duex had appeared in public. Examples had to be made publicly and brutally when a few of them thought they could then begin speaking to her as if they were her equal. Their future restaurant reservations had to be made with private rooms after that. Tonight would be no different.
She would actually chuckle as he held her like she weighed nothing and could do no more damage to him than a harmless kitten. One hand still holding her wine and the other her phone she'd lean in, nuzzling her face against his with a gentle and affectionate purr.
"I wish Boris luck then."
A loud alert would come on her phone, ruining the quiet moment. She'd have 3 seconds before the emergency alert would sound and she'd hold up her phone as near to her face as she could with Duex's pinning her arms to her side. She luckily wouldn't need speakerphone to hear her brother's voice coming through the speaker.
"Mia...we have a breach at CdG...someone bypassed my biometrics...I don't have to tell you that's literally impossible. Get here now...."
She'd look up to Duex, her expression hardening. She wouldn't need to tell him she needed to go, he knew where her priorities were. Her family had built the CdG up to what it was today and it could not be ignored.
"I'll see you after work." She'd say, slipping out of his arms and walking back to their dinner table to set down her wine glass and pick up her clutch, walking out of the restaurant but not leaving through any door. Magic after all was something the Puhrmanns still had access to.
She'd shadowstep back into the lobby, her phone having been replaced by a watch. She still wore the long hunter green dress from dinner as she stalked through the security biometrics and up to the main elevator corridor. Not that she needed them once she was past security.
"I am here. Where was the breach?" She'd ask, preparing to step to that location at a moment's notice... but deciding to add once she realized what day it was.
"And Brother... if you still have company I encourage you to keep her here. I have questions."
Indeed, his company would still be there. Ilimetha had at least heard his message across the emergency coms. He had used his trick of slowing down time with her before, so the fact he had appeared showed and dressed only shortly after leaving the bed would be no surprise to her. Figuring there would be no leaving the building while on lock down and having no concern that she had possibly done anything wrong she would leave the bed and begin to run her own shower. The Drowess would not hear the message from Mia over the sound of running water.

Act II of the Magic Flute. The wrath of hell is burning in my bosom.
Tana's phone buzzed in her clutch as the Queen of the Night hit the notes of the famous aria. She'd have it on silent and so she would receive the same message as Mia but in text form. She'd frown, setting the phone down and reaching over to gently squeeze the knee of her current paramour, glancing over to trace her gaze from the ends of his blue hair as it lay smoothly draped over his shoulder and up to his face. She'd offer a smile, a flash of fang between dark red lips before turning her gaze back to the stage.
The phone had been left face up and screen open and should he wish to take note he could. She did not seem concerned at the moment and this would be confirmed as Adlai would take a step up from behind to stand closer between the back of the two seats. His foreboding presence felt by the couple as even Tana's skin crawled. She would simply raise her hand, shaking her finger as if to say no before returning her hand back to the knee of her lover. Adlai would respond with a bow, backing away and resuming his place at the entrance of the theatre box as security.
Tana would allow her cubs to handle this. If they were unable, then she would intervene. For now she was having an enjoyable time.

Niwyn would stand, dumbfounded, at the sight of Z'ress. Her nose would wrinkle up enough to curl her top lip as her eyebrow rose, her head tilting slightly as the tongue slapped against the glass. She wouldn't even blink at the gunshots, but rather turn her head slowly to Lady Max, pointing slowly at Z'ress with a complete "Are you serious?" gesture, then turn just as slowly to Zella. Her hand would slowly raise to the bridge of her nose, pinching it in a deep sigh. She would mutter to herself and no one else in particular in a very tired, exasperated tone.
"He's a gods damned moron. I mean, I suppose some things hold true even across the multi-verse, but was it too much to ask? I'd ask what I'd done to deserve this, but honestly, this is probably karma long overdue. You didn't kill him, Winnie...you were sparing Sera's feelings. Mistakes were made, sure...but when you get back you're going to have to end him for this...I mean, seriously...he could have sent us to some universe where everyone was chip and dales and the booze was free...but no...he sent you here....dick move, even for a Not-our-Nate. He's going to die...horribly...so, so horribly...."
She would take a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Looking at Lady Max again, the little gnome would sigh.
"So what's the deal, Ms. Max? You said this was a dystopia...how's about you fill us in, provided you're not still planning on feeding us to Queen Liz-teeth-ah over there. I don't fancy being gummed to death. And you, Frenchie Lizard Lips...you got anything to drink around this pad you didn't brew in a bathtub? I think I need a drink..."
She would walk over and rest her forehead on Zella's hip with an exasperated grunt.
"I haven't the first idea how to get us outta here Zells. I'm gonna need time to figure out why my magic isn't working, but even then my portals don't do cross dimensions. Best we get comfortable. This may be a bit of a haul, unless you got a pair of Wish spells squirreled away somewhere I don't know about..."

The cloaked figure would click his teeth as his access was shut off. He'd memorized what he'd seen, but he still had more information to gather yet. Rolling his thumb across the biometric panel, he relogged on.

The figure would tap "Y" with a grin, shutting Vespyr's loggin down. Pulling up the command prompt, he would begin typing away.

Grinning, he would input "cls" and crack his knuckles.

The figure would mutter soundlessly, reviewing the limited information on the system. A slow, cunning smile would creep across the features under the hood.

Vespyr would not bat an eyelash at his sister's sudden appearance. He'd sigh heavily, chiding himself for his indulgences. His tone would be matter of fact.
"Ground Floor, West Entrance of the Security Wing. Cubicle 4. Whoever it is they...oh my..."
His computer monitor would blink, large red letters appearing on the display screen.
SHUTTING DOWN
Vespyr's eyes would narrow. It would take a full 2 minutes to reboot his console, and he would not be able to do anything about it. Only he had the authorization to do so, and the fact that he had been so 'violated' began to grow a deep rage within him. His lip curled as he looked at Mia, a hint of fang showing - something he rarely if ever did. The last time he had gotten fully angry was when he matched blades with Eochaid. The rabbit had insulted him once too many times in their swordplay, and rather than kill him cleanly the young man had hung the legendary warrior by the neck with his own entrails, burning him constantly with plasma as his regeneration kept him alive for weeks before finally tiring of the pained screams and random sex noises and putting the Rabbit out of both of their miseries. He would swallow hard, smoothing his hair with a gloved hand before trying to address his sister calmly.
I would advise caution, sister - whomever this is has replicated my biometrics. They have surveilled us enough to know that mother was out, you were with your husband and I was indulging. What's more, they somehow predicted tonight would not be one of conversation or light play, but deep enjoyment. That in and of itself is rare and unpredictable. Whomever they are they are prepared...which means they know your combat prowess and are unafraid. I don't doubt you'll still be successful, but do be on your toes. This one might be more fun than boring for you. As for Illimetha, this isn't her first lockdown...I'd gather she'll be comfortable. After you are done, you may have access for your inquiry. I'm going to get things back on line...go do what you do best."
*~*~*~* The slim elf with moon-white skin and sapphire hair would slowly lower his opera glasses as he felt the squeeze upon his knee. Demurely looking down at the phone, a slight curl to his lips, he would raise the glasses back up to view the stage. His hand would slide over atop hers, brushing it gently with his fingertips. He would not interrupt the music with idle chatter or side comments - Tana Puhrmann did what she pleased, when she pleased and how she pleased. To have had a breach at the CdG was unheard of, and to not have her respond was curious. Sure, there were infiltrations at times, Vespyr often allowed it to trace connections and set traps. To have the breach alarm sounded was something he'd seen but once before. Given that Tana was not leaving, he in turn pitied the imbecile who thought themselves capable of causing a stir. He wondered how much "Fabuloso" it was going to take to get the stains out of the carpet before his date returned to her tower once again.
