CNN, S. Windsor, CT: Hospital officials issued a statement today confirming the deaths of five people in the early Sunday morning car bombing in South Windsor: Major Marcus Kendal, USM, age 39. Deirdre Kendal, age 4. Captain Timothy Bonds, USM, age 33. Father Robert Callahan, age 58, St. Francis of Assisi Church. Melanie Harper, age 62. Eight other people were treated for minor injuries and released including UN Ambassador Teagan O'Connor-Kendal, wife of Major Kendal and mother of Deirdre Kendal.
Claim for the car bombing has been made by the Liberation of the Repressed, a militant group based somewhere in North Korea in response to the negotiations that were led earlier this year by Ambassador O'Connor-Kendal that resulted in the release of 237 UN prisoners of the North Korean-Sino Techno War of fifteen years ago.
Interment will be Saturday from the South Windsor St. Francis of Assisi Church. The family asks that the private ceremony remains as such out of respect.

CNN, Special Report, this is Carrie Stewart reporting.
The air hangs heavily over the small Roman Catholic of St. Francis of Assisi in South Windsor, Connecticut today as Major Marcus Kendal, USM and his four year old daughter Deirdre were laid to rest in the family masoleum. What had been thought to be a private ceremony turned into a diplomatic gathering as various heads of states, including the US Vice President, four past US presidents, the UN Secretary General, the Prime Minister of Canada, and high ranking officials from the nineteen major world governments that UN Ambassador Teagan O'Connor-Kendal represented in her long history with the United Nations and the US Diplomatic Corps along with her husband of six years.
Ms. O'Connor-Kendal was the sole survivor of the car bombing earlier this week that took the lives of her husband, her daughter, the driver of her car and two other citizens of the small town of South Windsor. Seven other people were treated for minor injuries from flying debris and released. She had been treated and released with a broken arm and ankle later that day and stood vigil over her husband and daughter, loosing both within minutes of each other.
Sources close to the family said that Ms. O'Connor-Kendal would retire to the home she shared with her family and would not be receiving visitors after the interment today.
